assuming at this point. Nobody will know until the motor is out of the car and is torn apart. I stated my opinion when I said, "this is what I think". We might not never know what caused it, but driving with a NA ecu for 6 months has got to upset something, on top of that he doubled the jets to raise the boost even though it was stuck in safety boost. He also didn't accurately measure the boost until 6 monts later so, I'm sure some of it is neglect. The previous owner dogged the hell out of the car also. The blame cannot be placed on any one person. All that can be done is to document the information, research it, and learn from it.
